The Candida Bermejo Camargo Cancer Support Center in São Paulo received a very special visit! Children studying in primary 2 at a school in São Paulo met the Center's residents.
The Center, which depends exclusively on donations, houses families from all over Brazil who cannot afford to stay in the city of São Paulo while their children undergo medical treatment in hospitals in the capital.
There, families receive food, a suitable place to live, transportation and whatever else they need, without paying anything for it. In return, the mothers, fathers and other relatives who accompany the patients are responsible for cleaning the place and making food for everyone.
The children's visit was a pleasant moment of solidarity and exchange, where the students were able to follow a little of the routine of the families who live temporarily at the Center. The residents are grateful for the “donation of love”!
