Instituto Claret: - Serving children and teenagers and impacting the lives of vulnerable families.

When it was founded in 1985, the Instituto Claret only served children in early childhood.

But over all these years, a lot has changed and today the Institute works on various projects, always aiming to assist and develop people in situations of vulnerability.

This is how the NGO impacts the lives of thousands of vulnerable people in the neighborhoods of Perus, Pirituba, Brasilândia and Centro, all in the city of São Paulo, where it operates.

The Instituto Claret carries out educational activities through its three Early Childhood Education Center (CEI) units, which together serve more than 400 babies and children, adding up to 1,812 indirect services via family members.

Social assistance activities are carried out through two Child and Adolescent Center (CCA) units, with a total of 240 people served, a Social Assistance Service for Families at Home (SASF) unit, with a capacity to serve up to 1,000 people, a Specialized Approach Service for Children, Adolescents and Adults in Street Situations (SEAS) unit with a capacity to serve 140 people and a Social Protection Service for Children and Adolescents who are Victims of Violence (SPVV) unit.

Manuela is the mother of a beneficiary of the Claret Center for Children and Adolescents (CCA) and the family also receives a basic food basket, linking the program for the integral development of children and adolescents to the food security program.
